Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
